Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a community-based book gifting program that mails free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until age five, regardless of their family’s income. We partner with a local organization that registers children into our secure database and covers the cost of the books and mailing which averages to be $3.55 per book, per child/month for an agreed coverage area.
In our community of Windsor/Essex, There are currently 250 children under the age of 5 years old are receiving a book monthly from the program.
